How to Jump-starting car with automatic battery charger?
I just bought an automatic battery charger made by Vector. The instructions really sucked. I could not find anything that tells you when you can turn on your vehicle. Do I charge it first, then unplug the power cord and cables. Then turn on the car?
Also, I am not sure which type of battery my car has? The setting options are wet battery, gel battery, and AGM.
I’m trying to jump start a 2007 GM Sierra truck. Any suggestions welcomed. Thanks.
Its a wet battery. Does your charger have a jump start setting? If not let it charge on 12v for about 15 mins and you can start your truck. To charge it write then let it charge over night on the low setting. This is better on the battery.
