How can I feed a PA system 24v plug in a 12V car cigarette lighter?
I am planning to put a 24v in my PA system car because I'm running in a local election here, I'll use my car for the campaign. my amp is 24 volts and instant messaging with hope of plugging in my car to help me win this election
There is no sensible way to get 24 volts of 12 volts. The earlier suggestion by saying that using 2 inverters, one of 12 volts – the voltage, the second of the mains voltage to 24 volts job but would not have as much loss due to heat and resistance. It would not last any time at all. All I can suggest is to borrow 2 batteries or 12 volts. They charge up fully and get together in series for 24 volts. Put the boot except (trunk) and the cable from your PA system for them. Depending on how long and used for the current that should last a day. I charge overnight and it is again. If you discover that they are of a duration that may need to get a couple of seconds with a load and one on each use.
