How can I control my DirecTV receiver with my universal remote?
I have 3 RCA universal remotes (one D700, and 2 RCU310s). I would love that one or more of them to be able to control my DirecTV receiver (model # D12-300). The D700 has a SAT button that aims to control receptor DirecTV made prior to 2004, but mine was not. I'm expecting a result in this or a way to get one of the other 2 to work. Thank you!
Locate the model number online and there should be a list of codes (depending on distance) for the use of different types of receptors. Please do not try to help you talking to DirecTV about it.
