What can I do with a broken USB port on my laptop?
I broke the USB ports (Acer Emachine E520). My question is can I use the VGA port or Ethernet port for connecting other devices like a mouse or a USB camera you have? I saw some connectors that can be used in Ethernet or VGA with one end USB so I can reconnect with a female USB tip.
usb forget the bad and spend 10 $ on this http://eavysky.ecrater.com/product.php?pid=3512724 ie if you have a free PCMCIA slot. I repair these issues, but requires me to have the computer in my shop and desoldering and replacing the part that is bad (this not a process for non-professionals)
