Does anyone have xperience with the Jiffy 72 pod greenhouse? I accidentally threw out the directions . . .?
Just need to know how much water to add, how often, how many seeds to put in each pod, how long to leave the plastic lid on, how much light, etc. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I am using the jiffy pods for the first time this year. So far they are really easy to use…I think I will use them every year.
You have to hydrate the pods in WARM water…it doesn’t give a measurable amount I just put a little bit in the bottom and set the pods right in it. After just a minute or two you will see them starting to absorb the water, keep adding a small amount of water until they are all completely soft and hydrated. (It doesnt take long)
You can put one seed in each one unless the seed package directs otherwise to get small mounds of plants (I just did one in each though).
Put the lid on them and put them in direct sunlight until they begin to sprout then you can remove the lid, but leave them in the sunlight.
You need to keep them moist so I spray water on them when the soil begins to get lighter brown and dry.
