Passive matrix and active matrix TFT LCD screen? Is there any difference in how the image looks?
I have portable DVD player that only says "TFT LCD" is half an active matrix or passive matrix? What looks better or worse?
TFT active matrix. This is the way forward. Passive matrix displays look dark and washed out, so, on laptops, they were replaced entirely by active-matrix displays in the 90s.
