Where can I find the Dodge truck fenders for my age? And the bad thing is a replacement of wires?
I have a 1975 Dodge step side 100, and have been to scrap yards and looked online, I can find step side fenders anywhere. I also wondered how hard of a wire cable set EZ or the Summit is to put in it?
Would call all the usual shops or body shops, etc for the defense, but may end up having to take a compound for you. My specialty is the wiring and I can say is great work if you are talking about the main harness that vehicle.I 'd try to do it again auto wreckers and pull it a couple of those harness BEC was not earning much to do in the hands of work. I'am sure why you want to change this harness is perhaps BEC accident or a faulty wiring harness that crimped but please note that Dodge uses a bit of fine wires and measured in a vehicle of age who have many bad reasons and wiring that is internally rotted out or corroded. Basically a harness to pull off if the main harness will take 2 to 3 hours or less, but been installed by a good part of the day unless it is easily accessible, so I hope that helps and best of luck.By if they know how to weld and replace the hardwired high me 'd recommend taking a harness off a vehicle exactly like yours and purchase the right cables then measure the reconstruction of the chair before changing harness with age, unless you're buying a new harness that is about 1,500 to $ 2,000. What I do is take the lining or sleeves, etc. out of the harness and monitoring of ATA cables once cut one end and then the other, stripping wires and then use an ohm meter to make sure it is the right way then remove the cable and slide you want to change the thermal shrinkage of tubes through which then peel off a new thread same gauge wire and add it to the old, then solder connections, Check both ends welded ohm meter to make sure it is a solid relationship, and then slide the tube over the wire once it cools down a bit and shrink tube heating up also check the cables connecting the harness to as a plug in pin connector pins to be sure your method of connection properly.This all may take a little over 8 hours or even a few days, but at least then we know that the wiring is basically new.
