Will 15 band Radar Detector work with tinted windshield??????
I have a suv with 1.5% on the sides and 30% metallic tint on the full windshield and I am wondering if my radar dector (Cobra XRS 979(link at bottom for specifications))will work with tint. Where the best place to mount? It’s a 15 band. I would also like to know what the “perfect” settings would be for it to make it go off for basically everthing. I also live in Florida just incase the sunlight might have something to with it.

I also have a limo strip on the winshield which is not metallic. Would it work there? I’m not really worried about thw whole 360 degree detction thing.
