Home Networking Setup question of speed! Please:)?
I have 10Mb / s internet speed (which is reasonably fast in England!) And a Belkin 54g router. I am planning to use two 85Mb / s HomePlugs which connects to the router and the other to a splitter (I think that is what is called, where connect an ethernet cable in the back and get more shots on the front) to my Xbox and the Blu-ray will be connected. I wonder if this will give me great speed to Viera Cast is enought and BD-Live, and if my Xbox Live Performance will be good or better than the wireless adapter I currently have. Thanks:) and I tried speedtest.net and I normally gets about 8-10Mb / s speed
10Mb / s is considered reasonably fast speed. Its internal network over the range with a comfortable margin, so it should have a good Internet connection speed. However, good speed Internet does not automatically mean the connection speed to servers that are good using. Although the connection from your ISP (Internet Service Provider) could be 10 fast connection to your ISP's servers that you want might be much slower (at 1-2Mb / s wide. There is no real way to tell until you try.
